The Back Mountain Police Association was incorporated on December 4, 1958.
A Non-Profit Police Organization
The purposes for which this organization was organized are to secure
closer official personal relationship among the police officers and
member departments of the Association; to secure unity of action in
police matters; to elevate the standards of the police officers and
member departments of the Association; the adoption of human efforts
in the enforcement of laws; to devise and suggest ways and means for
the advancement of a uniform police system among member departments
of the Association; the furtherance by legislation of pension,
relief, and civil service laws affecting police officers; and, the
advancement of all matters pertaining to the prevention and
detection of crime.
