The Back Mountain Police Association has acquired a state of the art Identification System for Fingerprinting and Photographing our area children. The system is computerized and we use a special fingerprint scanner to take the thumb prints of the child so there is no ink and no mess. The photograph is then taken with a Web Cam and then the thumb prints and photograph are transposed onto an identification form which the parents are given to take home with them as a permanent record.
We do not charge for the use of this system, however a donation to assist us in the maintenance of the equipment and restocking of supplies is always appreciated.
